Well, who’d have thunk it but I’ve good news! I’ve decided to buck the trend in the economy and smile in the face of all this doom and gloom because as of Monday I am starting a great new job! It was this time last month that I was still reeling a bit having been made redundant. However, I decided to look at it as an opportunity rather than a set back and use the time to focus on finding the best plan for myself. Keeping positive was the best thing I ever did as, although it was tough at times, the positivity starts to rub off on other people and you begin to make opportunities for yourself. It also helps that the web community in Ireland are great and people have really look out for each other in terms of recommending jobs or freelance opportunities.
My new job is an exciting creative role with an group who I think are the some of the best and brightest in the industry and I’m so excited about working with them. I feel as if I say who it is, I’ll jinx it , but I’ll let you all know when I start on Monday. So for now its just a case of enjoying tomorrow at the FOWA in Dublin and containing that nervous excitement feeling in my belly which feels great!
